SAT
WORKSHOP
There is an SAT
workshop that is scheduled for Saturday, February 20th from
9 to 5 at the Monroe Building at Eastern AHEC. Only 6
students have pre-registered for this workshop to date, so
Eastern AHEC has opened this offering up to all high school
students in PCS. Students can go to www.pitt.k12.nc.us and
then to the Health Sciences Academy link and then to forms
to get the registration paperwork. The registration deadline
is February 12, 2010. I have also attached the forms to this
e-mail. One is a registration form and the other is a flyer
with information. If students already have their textbook,
The Official SAT Study Guide, their registration fee is only
$15. They will need to bring their copy of the book to use
that day. If they do not have a copy of this book, they will
need to pay $25 for registration and they will get the book
when they get to the workshop. All registration forms and
money are paid directly to Eastern AHEC. Registration covers
a light breakfast, lunch, (book), and instruction. This a
real bargain. The book alone sells for $18.
