Congratulations to Destiny Dixon,  the Ayden-Grifton HS Student of the Week. Destiny is a junior and her parents are Cathy and Corey Dixon. Destiny's favorite subject is U.S. History and her favorite activities are volleyball and basketball.

EXAM SCHEDULE

Thursday, May 30--This is a regular school day. However, all fourth period courses that have an MSL/Common Exam will give that portion of the exam on the morning of May 30. The teacher-made portion of the exam will be given on June 5 during the scheduled 4th period exam time.
First and fourth periods will switch time slots on this day.

Friday, May 31--1st Period Exam--8:20-12:20 with Lunch-in-a-bag at Dismissal

Monday, June 3--2nd Period Exam--8:20-12:20 with Lunch-in-a-bag at Dismissal

Tuesday, June 4--3rd Period Exam--8:20-12:20 with Lunch-in-a-bag at Dismissal

Wednesday, June 5--4th Period Exam--8:20-12:20 with Lunch-in-a-bag at Dismissal

AYDEN-GRIFTON WINS PCS BOOK WARS COMPETITION
Two students from Ayden-Grifton High School tied for top individual honors, and the Chargers walked away with the team title during the first-ever Book Wars competition held Wednesday at South Central High School.
 

Carlton Allen and Nathan Boseman tied for first place during the final round of the contest, finishing above nearly 50 other competitors from each of Pitt County's six high schools. The AGHS team, consisting of Carlton Allen, Nathan Boseman, Carla Mack, Eva Mewborn, Katherine Wilson and Ashley Hardy, won first place in the team competition.
